A Walk with the Scent of Time

This thematic journey is dedicated to the cultural heritage of the city.

The walk covers Vinnytsia’s leading museums that preserve the history, art, and scientific achievements of various eras. We begin at the “Cat” Arch, stroll through the Mykola Leontovych Central Park, learn the history of the women’s gymnasium, visit the former Real School (today the Vinnytsia Trade and Economic Institute), and hear the story of this building’s construction. Then we go down the 19th-century staircase to the unique Museum of Money, which houses a collection of rare and little-known banknotes and coins. After that, we walk along Soborna Street “towards Paris” to the theatre, and finish at the Vinnytsia Regional Universal Library named after Valentyn Otamanovskyi, where we will visit the rare books hall and see unique examples of printed literature.
