Crafted Vinnychchyna
Route: Vinnytsia – Kalynivka – Khomutyntsi – Makhnivka – Samhorodok – Pohrebyshche – Krupoderyntsi – “Zeleni Krynytsi” Nature Reserve – Vinnytsia.
A mix of art, tradition, architecture, and landscapes awaits the participants.
- A meeting with a traditional wedding-bread master in Kalynivka.
- Khomutyntsi – birthplace of Ukrainian literary classic Stepan Rudanskyi, and home to his literary museum.
- Makhnivka, Samhorodok, and Pohrebyshche – former centers of large Roman Catholic communities with 18th–19th century churches (St. John Nepomuk, St. Anne, and the Immaculate Conception).
- In Pohrebyshche – a museum of folklorist Nastia Prysiazhniuk, who collected over 6,000 folk songs, 4,600 tales, and 6,100 proverbs and sayings.
- Krupoderyntsi – preserved manor house of the noble family and the Ignatiev family mausoleum-church, as well as the remains of a mill on the Ros River.
- Final stop – the “Zeleni Krynytsi” Nature Reserve.
