Vinnytsia Regional Museum of Local Lore

The museum was founded in 1918 and is located in one of the buildings of the historical and architectural complex Mures. The Vinnytsia Museum of Local Lore guides visitors through the history of the region from the Stone Age to independent Ukraine.

Its most famous exhibits are an impressive collection of ornaments from the Sarmatian era and the skeleton of the mammoth Winnie, which is the southernmost and the most complete that was found in Ukraine.

Vinnytsia Regional Art Museum

The masterpieces of the Regional Art Museum’s collections span more than four centuries. These are works by famous artists, collections of portraits of noble families, sculptures and furniture from old estates.

The museum is also famous for its unique collection of Italian majolica of the 17th century, products of European porcelain factories and an exhibition of national arts and crafts.
